How I Manifested My Goals Using The Law of Attraction

Would you believe me if I said you'd be able to manifest your dream life/goals just by thinking about them and having a positive feeling towards them? I guess not, but I've done just that through the Law of Attraction and I am beyond shook!


At first, I had my initial doubts but then thought to myself - 'I'm not gonna lose anything so might as well give it a try.' And, I'm glad I did.


What is the Law of Attraction?


The Law of attraction is a philosophy or pseudoscience that suggests that you attract things or energy that you focus on. It all begins with the thoughts in your head and how it brings about exact material things, opportunities, or emotions that you focus on.


Like attracts like. Similarly, positive thoughts attract positive circumstances into your life. It has a whole process to it from visualizing to letting it all go.


The Law of Attraction works between you and the Universe or the Source or higher power (whatever you'd like to call it). Initially, you put out your thoughts into the Universe and when done right, it gives you exactly what you want.


I know all of this sounds like fluff, but it ACTUALLY WORKS!



The Manifestation Process


There are a few steps to manifesting your goals. They are quite simple to practice and don't take much time of your day.


Here, I've listed the 5 steps to manifesting your goals when practiced daily.


  1. Identify Your Goals

  2. Take Action

  3. Trust The Process

  4. Let Go of Resistance

  5. Practice Gratitude


1. Identify Your Goals


Having a clear picture as to what you want in life is very crucial before you start manifesting. Be crystal clear on what you want.


Go ahead and get into the tiny details because they really matter in this process. The more detailed your goals are, the higher the chance of getting them manifested.


For instance, instead of setting a goal like - I want to land my dream job, be specific like - I want to land a job at [your dream company] or I want to start my own business by [specific date].


The more specific you are, the better the results will get.


2. Take Action


The Law of Attraction is not some kind of voodoo or magic. It is a theory where your subconscious mind attracts what you truly desire. In this case, we have the ability to guide our thoughts and actions.


Once you know exactly what you want, start working towards your goals. It's okay if you don't see much progress in the beginning. Stay consistent and keep your energy in check.


They say everything in this world vibrates on its own frequency. In order to attract a particular thing, you need to vibrate in line or match the frequency of that specific thing.


Hence, when you're actively working towards your goals while keeping in mind how it will better your life, you're energy is in line which will make your goal a reality.



3. Trust The Process


Have faith. You need to possess a strong belief that what you want is on its way to you. You deserve to have this thing in your life. You are worthy of all the good things the Universe has to offer.


Every day, start visualizing what it would feel like to receive what you've desired. Does it make you jump with excitement? Now, feel that emotion and visualize how happy it makes you. This works wonders, I swear.


When you start trusting the process, you're already halfway there. Many have trouble in this step because they find it hard to believe in things they haven't seen before. I experienced the same thing and realized this is what delayed my manifestation process.


4. Let Go of Resistance


When you feel like there is no progress in your manifestation for a long time, it is probably because you're resisting the Universe. It may be feelings of anxiety, doubt, or fear.


All of us experience this on a daily basis so it's nothing to be afraid of. Whenever you feel like you're going down a downward spiral, just take a breather and try to calm yourself. Think about the bigger picture and release those resisting emotions.


5. Practice Gratitude


The last step is simple yet very crucial. Be grateful for your life. This habit is great to practice on a daily basis when you're feeling down.


It instantly puts me in a better mood when I realize I'm blessed to have this wonderful life. In order to manifest better things, you need to be grateful for the things you already have.

Every night before bedtime, give thanks to the Universe for the better things coming your way. You can do this by maintaining a gratitude journal.


Thank the Universe as if you've already received what you wanted. This works like magic!



How I Manifested My Goals?


I've read a lot of books on the Law of Attraction and watched many videos on manifesting your dream life. They definitely felt too good to be true in the beginning. Anyway, I went into this process with an open mind and let the Universe do its magic.


I set my yearly goals - loud, clear, and specific. I wrote down my goals in a planner. I made vision boards. I practiced gratitude every day. I meditated and visualized my dream life. I repeated positive affirmations at night before sleep.


My Manifestation Process


  1. I wrote down my goals in my planner with specific details and made sure to review them every week.

  2. I made a vision board using a website called Moodzer. I collected visual representations of my goals and put them into a collage. I only used a digital copy, you can print it out and make a physical vision board too.

  3. I practiced guided meditations related to manifestation and visualized my dream life for at least 10 mins a day. I used an app called Insight Timer & some YouTube videos.

  4. At the end of the day, I would write three things I'm grateful for in my journal.

  5. Before bed, I would repeat a few positive affirmations to myself that were relevant to my goals for 5 mins. You can affirm it in your mind or out loud.


Things I Manifested


At first, it all felt like a coincidence, and then I started noticing a pattern. I was subconsciously manifesting my goals through these daily rituals.


  • I wanted to buy a particular phone for a very long time and I manifested exactly that.

  • One of my goals was to learn to drive & I got my driver's license by mid-year.

  • I've wanted to become a freelance writer & graphic designer after I quit my job. I received a few freelance orders and monetized my blog as well. So, I actually manifested my dream job.

  • I had a particular lifestyle or daily routine in mind when I started manifesting & my life is almost similar to what I've always wanted.

  • I wanted to start my own business and things are already aligning in favor of that. Soon, I'll be able to make it a reality!

How Long Did It Take?


To be honest, it took me about 5-6 months minimum & a maximum of 9 months to start seeing actual results. I learned a lot of new things along the way and adapted to changing my behavior towards having a limiting mindset.


To be honest, I was a bit shocked when I looked back at my vision board a few weeks back. Almost all of the goals have become a reality. After making that vision board at the time, I let go of any expectations and just went on with my life.


With an open mind & heart, this would be a whole lot easier and simple. However, that is definitely the hardest part to master. It's normal to get easily frustrated when you don't see much results as expected. Once in a while, pause and check for any kind of limiting beliefs you might be holding on to unconsciously.
